Bio:

I am a multi-disciplinary artist; musician and painter. I have had a 25 year career composing music for advertising, as well as producing, recording, and playing music for other artists, in addition to my work as a songwriter and solo artist Gregory Dwane. I began painting full time in 2014 and I founded Established Gallery in Prospect Heights Brooklyn in 2017 to offer an environment for myself and the community to show work.

Artist Statement:

The paintings employ a direct technique using overlapping hues and textures to create a representational image. The images can alternate between flat and volumetric space.  If I’m lucky, theses works can invoke progenitors such as Matisse, Hockney, or Katz. In the end, the narratives are a vehicle for my joyful exploration of color relationships.
